Our affiliates and members continue to meet at local levels to improve the awareness of the family court crisis while conferences and events continue from coast to coast.
Local Level Efforts
Task forces in Yolo and Santa Clara Counties in California have been formed to ensure best practices and to better understand the problems that are facing California counties. Members of Advocates for Child Empowerment and Safety are presenting at the Board of Supervisors meetings and building awareness to the problems.
Conferences
The Battered Mothers Custody Conference takes place every May in Albany, NY. Live stream videos from the 13th Annual BMCC are available on their Facebook page.
California Protective Parents had their 20th Anniversary Conference in 2018 and continue to reach out to protective parents in California and across the country.
